    1 who或that用来引导指人的从句;

    2 如果从句的宾语是人,不必用who,whom或that,特别是在英语口语中;

    3 which或that用来引导指物的从句;

    4 如果从句的宾于是物,不必使用which或that;

    5 who,which或that放在我们要详细叙述的名词之后。这一点与汉语正好相反,汉语中对人或物的叙述往往要放在所叙述的名词之前。

    6 在主句与定语从句中间不用逗号隔开。

    whom是个正式词,它用于书面英语或正式场合的英语口语中。
